Until I met my wife, I had no idea what intimacy was like. Webster’s dictionary defines intimacy as a “close friendship” or “nearness in friendship.” Among the definitions for a related word “intimate” are “one to whom the thoughts of another are entrusted with- out reserve” and “to love entirely.”
