3rd Quarter Volume 2
The last words we have re- corded that Jesus spoke before He gave up His spirit were, “It is finished.” John 19:30 He had completed His mission here on the earth, trained those who would carry on His work, suffered the cruel punishment for our sins, took all our infirmities and pain, and went to hell to bring final victory over sin and death for us. The perfect work of the cross has continued to impact my thinking and life as I meditate on its significance.
