Pastors in Ndola, Zambia burning their lists of debts as an act of their faith to forgive their parents!

Ndola, Zambia

Eunice’s Church and School

• Eunice who we met 10 years ago started tithing to our ministry 1-1/2 years ago believing to build a school which humbled us. That Sunday when we arrived at her church, she showed us Abba’s School of Hope which she had asked us to name. She has 2 preschool classes and plans to enlarge the school in the future!

• Sue spoke for their service on “Born of the Spirit – Born of Love” and it was well received. After the service Sue prayed for five ladies. One was instantly healed before we had to leave. PTL!

Pastor’s Training at the Boy’s Brigade

• We shared for five days with 30 pastors/leaders from our hearts on “Living Loved in Father’s Family.” It was a special time as their hearts were open to receive what we shared! A few of the highlights and praise reports were:

• We gave each pastor a booklet of our lessons for them to go over later.

• Eunice found another chef for the week after the original caterer backed out Monday morning of the school! The new caterer, Ken, and the kitchen staff made tasty meals!

• Many came forward to receive comforting hugs after Sue shared on the Motherheart of the Father. The men went to Rick and the six women to Sue! Sue was asked to come outside and pray for 2 pastors who were strongly impacted by the message. One that had lost his wife 2 weeks earlier and the other 2 years ago. They received Sue’s prayers and comforting hugs. Their hearts were truly comforted!

• Sue ministered to a lady weeping in her room. Sue found out she had lost her husband 5 years before. Sue comforted her and helped her to release the pain from the past. By the time Sue finished sharing and praying, the lady was free and at peace which she shared Friday in her testimony!

• After sharing on Heart Forgiveness, we went outside to burn their lists of the debts they were cancelling. As they put the lists in the barrel to burn, they started singing spontaneously in Bemba, their native language. There was a new freedom in their hearts!

• Rick shared how to have Immanuel Moments as they quietly, listened for His voice and received His love. Several pastors came and shared with us what Father had spoken to them.

• We introduced them to new ways of being relational through the power of Joy, Belonging, Appreciation, Quieting and staying relational. They expressed appreciation in small groups and spoke a blessing to the person on their right and their left!

• For our Fun night we had them play relay races passing balloons over their heads and keeping a couple beach balls in the air. There were lots of smiles; laughter and joy were in the room too! The next morning we were told they slept in and some were still eating breakfast when we arrived! There was joy and lightness in the room!

• They got the message throughout the week that they are no longer slaves or orphans, but sons of their true Father! We came in more than once with the song, “No Longer Slaves!” playing loudly!

• By Friday some of the men came to Sue for hugs and got past their cultural mindset!

• Friday morning Sue shared a message about them being seen, valued, and approved by Father. We ended by speaking words of life over each one while placing a red sash and a medallion on them. It was a very special time!

Below are a few testimonies from the week

One pastor shared how he had been totally rejected by his family who are Jehovah Witnesses. After he wrote a letter to his mother asking forgiveness for how he had stopped being a son, he called her to ask her forgiveness. Later his mother called him and said, “Come home, I love you!” Their relationship was restored!

One lady shared, “I thought there was no one to love me and speak good of me, but this week I came to know what I didn’t know and experience the love of the Almighty Father.”

A man that had lost his wife and felt abandoned got a revelation of the feminine heart of the Father and said, “Now I understand how much my Father loves, cares, and cherishes me as His son.”

Men asking the women forgiveness for how men have mistreated and hurt them. Lots of tears!

Fun Night with lots of games and fun times for all!

John Mwale’s Church, Ndola

• Saturday we did an Outreach to Orphans sponsored by our ministry at our friend John’s church. We acted out the stories from Luke 15 and talked about how much they are seen and loved! Then we provided a box meal of chicken, French fries and a drink for each of the children. Very special for them!

• Sunday Rick shared on “A Father to You” at John’s church. John recently let us know that the people are still talking about what he shared!

• After the service, we had lunch at John’s home which is next to the church. Swazi, John’s wife, had a stroke over 1-1/2 years ago which paralyzed the left side of her body. We prayed for her total healing and are believing for a good report back from them soon!
